In 2004, rumors surfaced of singer Vanessa van Hemert leaving the group, due to some newly released 4 Strings songs that did not feature her. Although Resoort originally denied the rumors, by the following year, van Hemert did leave the group. "Sunrise" was the last track van Hemert provided vocals for 4 Strings.
